Position:         Risk Manager

Reporting:     Reports to Director General

Salary Scale: BRD 3.3

Job Summary:

The position of Risk Manager entails: Working with the various departments to ensure smooth implementation of overall risk management process for the Banana Industrial Research Development Centre (BIRDC) including its employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration and any relevant field.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or other related field, such as Business Administration, Economics, Law, Finance, or Education is typically required for this position.
• Post graduate training in Corporate Governance is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ work experience in a related field.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of risk management principles.
