2.  The PIBID/BIRDC invites sealed proposals from eligible bidders for the Provision of Consultancy Services to facilitate the review of the BIRDC corporate strategy and prepare a strategy for developing a countrywide banana crop sub sector (2025/26-2029/30).

3.  Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection Method contained in Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 the PPDA (Procurement of Consultancy services) Regulations, 2014 and the procedures described in Part 1: Proposal Procedures and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.  Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Request for Proposal (RFP)/bidding documents at the address given below bellow from 8:00 am to 5:00pm during official working days:

5.  The Request for Proposal (RFP) /Bidding Documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b).

6.  Proposals must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 20^th December 2024 at 11: 00 am.  All proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal securing Declaration.

Proposal Securing Declaration must be valid until 30^th April 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:30 A.M on 20^th December 2024.

7. There shall be a pre – proposal meeting, at the address below at 8(c) on Friday 13^th December 2024 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
